Jacksonville American Football Club
The Origins and the Goal
The Jacksonville American Football Club (JAFC) was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to encourage athletes to stay active during a time when opportunities for organized sports were limited. Recognizing the challenges of playing flag football—requiring a large number of participants and access to a proper field—I saw a need within the community. Many individuals wanted to play but lacked enough connections to organize a full game.

JAFC was created to bring athletes together, fostering a sense of camaraderie among players who might not have otherwise met. Though the pandemic has passed, the league continues to thrive, welcoming new and returning athletes alike. What sets us apart is our pure love for the game—no registration fees, no hidden costs, and no commercial agenda. Run entirely by volunteers, our mission is simple: to provide a space for athletes to showcase their talents while strengthening the community through football.

Hit the field.

Athlete
All athletes are welcome to join—just show up and get added to a team. No registration, no fees, just football. The Jacksonville American Football Club (JAFC) was created to provide a free and inclusive way to stay active, connect with the community, and enjoy the game. Flags are provided, but bring your own water to stay hydrated!

Volunteers
The Jacksonville American Football Club (JAFC) operates entirely through volunteer efforts, with no money exchanged—no profits, no expenses. Everything, from organizing games to capturing game-day moments, is handled by dedicated volunteers, many of whom are players themselves. This community-driven approach keeps the league free and ensures that everyone has a role in making it thrive.
